Abdeckung der Welt durch das COSPAS-SARSAT-Satelliten-System für Notsender mit Frequenz 121,5 MHz:
Auf der folgenden Karte im Bereich der weißen Gebiete eine Erfassung der Notsender-Signale auf den Frequenzen 121,5 und/oder 243 MHz möglich.

Für die Signale der 406 MHz Notsender ist die Erfassung weltweit, inkl. der Polkappen, gewährleistet.

Die Abdeckung der Bereiche, in denen eine nahezu sofortige Alarmierung durch 406 MHz mit GPS-Interface möglich ist, finden Sie auf unserer Seite GEOSAR.

The above graphic shows the coverage of the globe for 121,5 MHz EPIRB detecttion by sattelites. All white areas are covred. In the shaded areas 121,5 MHz EPIRBs cannot be located by COSPAS-SARSAT-Satellites.

Signals of 406 MHz EPIRBs and PLBs can be detected world-wide. The information and location is stored in the satellites and deliverd to the next LUT in view.
